Why hadn't I thought of this before?!

I made something last night for dinner that required 2TBS of tomato paste. I still buy it in the can. (Something about squeezing it out like toothpaste is unsettling to me.) But then I am left with a lot of leftover tomato paste. In the past I have just put in all in some Tupperware in the fridge or freezer, and then hack pieces off when needed. But last night I pulled out my small cookie dough scoop and portioned out 2TBS scoops, froze them on a plastic wrapped plate, and then this morning put those frozen scooped into a freezer bag! No waste tomato paste! Duh!
