This is a quick and simple gift to make for a young child, especially if you live far away from them and they don't get to see you very often. All you do is cut out 3x3 squares of patterned paper for the backing and then 3x3 squares 2 of each picture. Or, you could make a personalized backing using Photoshop like I did. This project took me about an hour.
